Help them Walk again

Since its inception in 1992, the Centre for Handicapped (CFH) has been a beacon of hope for over 15,000 individuals with disabilities. Established through a collaborative effort between the Rotary Clubs of Kandy, Enköping in Sweden, the Rotary Foundation, and various other organizations, the CFH is dedicated to providing complimentary, tailor-made mobility aids such as artificial limbs, orthoses, and wheelchairs. With donations exceeding USD 660,000, the Centre has empowered countless underprivileged people by enhancing their mobility. Although it operates independently, the Rotary Club of Kandy remains intricately involved, with members contributing to the Board, engaging in projects, and securing partnerships and funding to sustain and expand the Centre’s noble mission.
