Medical Equipment for Local Hospitals
Sri Lanka has a universal health care system that extends free health care to all citizens. However, while the country’s health indicators are comparable to those of the more developed countries of the region, comparatively low levels of health expenditure mean that even the major government hospitals do not have access to the best available equipment in sufficient numbers. Over many years our Club has used its international networks to provide the country’s teaching hospitals with cutting edge medical equipment and facilities that help save lives
