Cultivating Tomorrow’s Leaders: Rotary Club of Kandy’s Youth Engagement Programs

The Rotary Club of Kandy is deeply invested in the development of our future leaders through active sponsorship and collaboration with 2 Rotaract Clubs and 22 Interact Clubs. Our comprehensive mentorship program pairs each youth club with a dedicated Rotary Advisor, fostering growth and leadership skills among the young members. Our engagement extends to a host of enriching activities, including an Orientation Programme for new Interact Club officers, meaningful interactions with the District Governor, and the festive celebrations of Interact and Rotaract Weeks. We take pride in sponsoring Rotaractors for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), hosting the Interact Food Festival, and organizing solidarity walks in Kandy city. These initiatives are not just events; they are stepping stones for our youth to ascend as community leaders, equipped with the skills, experience, and passion to make a difference.
