This avenue of provides a platform for membership development, fellowship, team building and the exchange of information and ideas that creates a sense of community and shared values that underlie our service activities. This includes:
- Our fortnightly club meetings are enlivened by guest speakers, team-based games and quizzes, debates on topical issues and talks by members in their areas of expertise.
- Quarterly “Family Nights” bring Rotarians and their spouses and children together for fun evenings. Their preparation by different groups of Rotarians facilitates friendship and encourages team building.
- Club outings also bring members and their families together and cement friendships through shared adventures.
- Our annual T. R. R. Rajan Cricket Carnival brings the Rotary and Rotaract clubs of District 3220 together for a day of friendly rivalry over a Sri Lankan obsession – cricket. The Carnival, which is held in memory of the Club’s 54th President, is organized jointly by the Sun and Asoka Group of Companies and our Club.
