Interact Clubs
Nurturing Future Leaders
Engaging youth through 22 school-based Interact Clubs, fostering leadership and community service.
The Rotary Club of Kandy is the proud sponsor of twenty-two Interact clubs, each a testament to our commitment to nurturing future leaders. Our advisors, drawn from club members, provide invaluable guidance and support to these clubs, which are based in schools throughout Kandy. The roster of schools includes the pioneering Interact Club of Trinity College, chartered on 30th September 1978, and the newest member, Green Hill International School, established on 23rd October 2018. Rotaract Clubs
Empowering Young Adults
Supporting professional and personal development in two dynamic Rotaract Clubs.
We sponsor two Rotaract Clubs with a view to grooming the future leaders of our community. Interested club members are appointed as Rotary advisors to the clubs and provide guidance and support.

Club members look after various RCCs and keep in contact with local leaders. Projects carried out jointly with the RCCs have included water and sanitation for the community and the local schools, access roads, income generating activities, children’s libraries and community training centres. The RCCs are generally in the suburbs of the city or in the rural hinterland. They are:
Sister Clubs
Fostering Global Relationships
Strengthening international ties and collaborative projects with our valued Sister Clubs for greater humanitarian impact.
We have signed sister club agreements with fifteen clubs both within the District and overseas with a view to promoting friendship and understanding between members and working together to improve the lives of people around us. We also foster cordial relations with one another through family and youth exchanges. One of our more recent sister club agreements was signed with the Rotary Club of Adelaide (RID 9500) in January 2018 and we are working together to provide safe drinking water to villages in the North Central Province where contaminated ground water is thought to be responsible for a high incidence of chronic kidney disease. Our sister clubs are:
